Individual Therapy:

Individual therapy is a place where you can focus on yourself and the problems that keep you from feeling at peace with your life. My approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and a focus on DBT skills. I believe that a strong client-therapist relationship is essential to creating a space where you can feel confident challenging thoughts and beliefs that keep you stuck. I emphasize the development of skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation. I received training in DBT, a powerful intervention for eating disorder treatment. DBT is beneficial for anxiety, trauma, self harm, stress management, and other emotional struggles. Ultimately, therapy is individualized to meet your specific needs, and geared toward helping you to achieve your desired outcome in a safe and confidential environment.
